Alarms 4 scaffolding were the first company to start using the "LV site light". These units run on 12volts and 24volts dc instead of 110volts ac, making them far more environmentally friendly, they also come with a fully battery powered option featuring dusk till dawn sensors and multiple colour options.
The power consumption of our LV site lights are tiny compared to conventional 110v bulkhead lighting whilst out putting a similar amount of light. Our lights come in 12vdc/, 24vdc/ and are also available in highly efficient battery operated versions.
All lights come in both red and white as standard and are extremely robust, the battery operated light gives a constant white colour(3-6months) or red colour(2-4 months) on scaffolds or hoarding where there is no access to power, as the LV site light only use alarm cable it makes it very easy to run the cable into buildings without drilling big holes and leaving bulky 110v transformers lying around.
We can also provide alarm activated lighting, these are floodlights linked to our scaffold/ site alarms. They are a great deterrent as once the alarm is triggered the flood lights will illuminate specified areas making it more likely for the intruder to flee or get caught.
